Prayers for Roger and Debbie are automatic in our house. We will re-double our efforts so Roger gets right back home to help put up the Christmas lights. The faith and inspirational deeds and words by Roger Bennett sustain us all - and those same deeds and words will have Roger healthy very soon with no more aches and pain. God bless you all. Debbie & Roger - We have been busy with other things, and have not checked your posting as often as usual. However, please be assured that Jay has NOT let up on HIS praying for you, even if his parents have "forgotten" a couple of times. He still wants the same thing for Christmas, Roger - your complete and total healing (even though he doesn't phrase it that way), and will not settle for anything less. John and I are just asking for NO SNOW in Houston this year since we will be going through there around Christmas. Please feel free to take it BACK to TN with you!!

Now that you've had a chance to get partially back on to the "road circuit", it will be twice as hard to be off of it. Just as Rome wasn't built in a day, neither will your strength and stamina come back in just a few months. I'm sure you're tired of hearing that, but it's only because we all love you.

All 3 of the Wilsons are praying for both of you and your "kids", and all of L5.

The Wilsons - - Jill, John & Jay

Debbie, thanks so much for letting us know about this new development. We will be praying for Roger and the doctors. We also pray for you to have the stamina and peace of God during this time.

Christine Hughes

Our Prayers for a short visit this time and all goes well for you! God's Blessing Lori

Noah Hinton

Roger and Debbie,
My daughter, Krista and I attended the program that Legacy Five and Greater Vision held at Palatka, Fl. on Nov. 5, at Beasley Middle School. I was encouraged to see Roger there, hoping that meant that the cancer was gone for the most part. We will continue to pray for you and your family and that the cancer will be cured. We know God is good. Our family can testify to that. I have just finished treatments for prostste cancer, and three weeks ago, my wife, Bonnie received a kidney transplant from a friend. This donor had to be an Angel sent by God.

We will continue to pray for you and your family.

Have a good holiday.

Donna Hoffman

Dear Deb & Rog,

I am so, so sorry to hear about this setback. I will certainly keep you in prayer. I hope they find the correct meds quickly to get you back on track.

Calif. fan,

Ruth Voorhees

Dear Debbie and Roger, Of course you have my prayers. All you have to do is ask and I will pray for certain needs. I used to tell you that I prayed for you instead of yelling at my dog, Gizmo. Gizmo has gotten so much better, in her behaivor, that I can't use her to remind me to pray as I used to. I have put notes around the house so I will not forget to pray for you. Please, do as the doctors tell you. I still beleive that God is going to do a complete healing in His time, when He is ready.

God Bless

What I'm Reading Right Now

  • Ron Mehl: What God Whispers in the Night

Ron Mehl: What God Whispers in the Night
Ron Mehl is a hero that I never met. A friend gave me this book a couple of years ago and it really touched me. Ron was suffering with Leukemia and had written several wonderful books before this one "Whispers" really got to me. The main thought is why is it that God who IS light, who created light, does so much of his work in the dark? The answer, because that's where WE are. We struggle in darkness, our weakness is more pronounced in the darkness and we feel so alone in our darkness. But....God is not intimidated by the dark! He invades it and speaks to us there! You should read this book asap. (*****)
