This morning Debbie and I were waiting for some big news and we got it. My latest bone marrow test results were in and by all accounts, there is no AML in my marrow. Great news. I still need to see another Dr. tomorrow as it seems as if I have some chronic graph vs. host disease that will require treatment.
As usual Deb and I thank you for the prayers and support during this long road. We will keep you posted when we know all the details.
I hope you will sleep as well as I will tonight!
In His Grip!
Roger
We read last night that "My Grace is sufficient for thee". We have heard L5 sing "Ive read the back of the Book and we win". So "Don't be afraid!"

Hi Roger & Debbie
What wonderful news to hear about your bone marrow, I know waiting for the results can be a very trying time. We have traveled that road with our son and know how hard waiting is. Today has brought back a lot of memories for me three years ago this morning my son left for MDA to prepare for a full bone marrow transplant from a non family member. His transplant took real well but as you know there are many factors on this journey and today he is in heaven enjoying the beauty and wonders that we all will soon be enjoying for we know that Our Lord and Saviour will soon be returning for his bride and then what a reunion we will all have. Praying for your host ver graph to continue to improve. Keep up the faith and keep holding to the rope. Hayden, Al

I'm glad to hear the good news. I haven't checked on you lately. I'm glad I checked tonight. I haven't stopped praying! I'm thankful to God that he has kept you going. I don't buy new CDs and don't hear you on radio that I know of - they don't tell who is singing. I just continue to listen to the old ones that I have. I don't know (none of us do) why God calls some Home and not others but we do know His way is best. Anthony Burger's passing is a loss to us but God knows best. I'm thankful we can depend on Him.
Still praying. Janet

Praise God for the good report. We love you guys and are still praying for continued healing. I just feel like Everything is on the upward swing right now. Keep holding on!!! Love and prayers - Peggy Jackson in North Carolina. Roger, the gentleman I requested prayer for in Louisville that has the brain tumor is supposed to hear from his scans this week. Since so many people read your link and know about your bone marrow-stem cell transplant, I hope that it is OK to comment about this weekend's nation wide bone marrow donor drive. This May 13th, is Mothers Day Bone Marrow Donor Day. Blood Banks nation wide will be hosting Donor drives. Please call the Blood Bank in your area to find out where the drive will be taking place. Any one between the ages of 18-60 can donate. The test is a simple blood test. Please consider saving a life.
Blessings,

Dear Roger and Debbie:
Praise the Lord for this wonderful report. It was so special to see you in Fresno at the GWSGFF and to hear your testimony. It was so emotional to see first hand God's answers to the prayers of His faithful children. I know all of us were so thrilled that you could be a part of L5. Our prayer continues for you and your family each step of your journey. Thank you for what you mean to all of us.

hi mr bennett. mom and dad let me have this email adress but i can only use it when someone is watchng me. dads suposed to be but hes reading the paper. im glad youre geting to go out with the rest of L5. aunt vicky and ms. ruth are going to CELEBRATON 2006 in nashvil for Memoral Day. i asked aunt vicky if she would please ask you to sign her piece of paper, and the rest of L5 too. ms. ruth said you dont have any picturs of L5 so aunt vicky said she would take some plane paper along and that would work. shes real excited about going. but you beter watch if you see a scoter heading for you because it might be her. dad said she would be dangeros to her and everone else on that thing. at least she can maybe get up close. and if you hear a real loud sneez thats probably her too. she can make our picturs move around on the wall when she snezes at our house. the dogs run and hide. youll know its her. mom says dinner is ready so i have to go. i hope you and your family keep doing good. were holding our part of the rope here in austin, tx. i wear my ropeholders pen every day so i can tell peeple about L5.

Roger,
Great to hear your news.
Our family always remembers you in prayer during family devotions.
I was at MD Anderson on the 3rd and 4th also. I too received great news. Sometimes while at the hospital I look to see if maybe you are also there. When I see a copy of The Singing News in the waiting room, as I have in the past, I realize that I could not have missed you by much.
Thank you for your testimony and Praise the Lord for the wonderful test results. I look forward to meeting you at the BMT Survivor Day 6/11 if you are able to attend.

Dear Roger Talk about jealousy! Here is an email I got from my Canadian brother who lives in Iowa:"Just got back from Legacy Five concert with Lois. What can you say about Roger Bennett? He can, he can sing! And he is a barrel of laughs! He uses the excuse that he is on medication that gives him the right to say whatever he wants. The group, itself was really good and I hope to see them again sometime. You can forward this to Betty if you want!!!"...Ted
Well what a lucky guy!! it almost makes this Canadian want to defect and go to the States just to see this Legacy Five group!!I am green with envy! Ha!!
Have a blessed Lords Day Roger and Debbie. Love from Bernie and Terry

Just wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers! May God grant you His strength and may hope fill your heart and mind. L5 was fantastic at the Fresno, Ca. Gospel Concert. Hang on Tight, don't lose your grip! I am reminded of the words to that song, "He giveth, and giveth and giveth more grace".
