This will be just a very quick note to say we are all safe here in our neck of the woods, following the severe weather and tornadoes of a couple of days ago. It was a very long night, but God protected us. Our family in Arkansas is safe, as well.
Everyone's health is good right now in our household, too. And, I received word yesterday that I have been accepted as a new courier for the National Bone Marrow Donor Association. I attend training on March 14 in Minneapolis, MN, and I am VERY excited and grateful for this opportunity! I will keep you updated when I know more about the program.
Gotta run, there is a cat trying to get in my lap and onto this keyboard.
In His Grip!
Debbie

Hi Debbie,
So happy for you.
I plan to talk to my sister who is in Lynnville TN later today. Glad to hear the storm wasn't so bad there.
I'm home a couple of weeks after having cataract surgery and other than a big black eye all is going well. We're having very bad wind here in Washington state.
I am a caregiver part time for a lady who has a cat and Scampurr has me well trained so I know what you mean when you say have to go. They are so cute when they want to help.
Take care and enjoy your training.
In His Amazing Love,
Ann

Isn't the Lord wonderful to let us work doing something that is dear to our hearts? May you be the beam of joy to those you encounter along the way, just like you were to Roger.
Love and cat hugs,

Was glad to hear that the storm did not do any damage in your area. I checked the website yesterday and when I did not see a post I thought that you may not be able to use the computer yet so I was gald to see your post today. So happy that you got the courier position and that it is involving you in a field that means so much to you. I may not have a cat that wants to sit in my lap at the computer but I have a dog that wants to sit in my lap when I am at the computer. Take care and just know that as March 17 gets closer we will still remember you in our thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations on your appointment. I know this will be a thrill for you. Your loving and kind Christian spirit will touch many families.
God's blessing to all of your family.

Thank you for letting us know all is well following the severe weather in your area. You and others living there came to mind when the news broke so prayers were said for you. It is a delight to know God is opening new doors for you. His love is never failing.

Debbie,
Wonderful! So glad you are safe as I thought often of you the past couple of days. It is also very exciting for you to serve for the Bone Marrow Foundation. We are so looking forward to the guys coming here tomorrow! They are so loved in Wisconsin, we always have a great time with them! We were watching the news last night and we found out we are going to have - 40, YEP! I SAID MINUS 40!!! for the windchill today and tomorrow. I had to laugh outloud as we should of known it would get cold when the guys come. I am sure they will have a comment about the weather. We have prayed for their safety as these cold windchills are nothing to fool around with. I know we will be very warm in our hearts! Take care and again, so glad you are safe and are willing to be His hands and His feet!

Dear Debbie: So very excited aboutyour being a Courier. I feel you will be able to witness to others that are having situations similiar to your journey with Roger for all of those years. How amazing God is that he is allowing you to do this wonderful service so dear to your heart.
I pray for travel mercy as you journey to Minnesota for the training. Also, glad the storm passed by and did no harm to you or
your family in Tennessee and Arkansas.

Debbie,
I attended an L5 concert in Normal, IL last night and was pleased as punch to be able to purchase the two new DVD's you have put together for Roger. I haven't had an opportunity to watch them yet, but when I'm alone in the house in a little while, I shall. The boys spoke often of Roger during the concert and used their experiences with him to bless all the rest of us.
What an opportunity for you - with the National Donor Marrow Program. Working for the Red Cross as I do, I worked closely with one of the staff from the marrow program who at that time was housed in the same building I am in. You will find yourself blessed over and over again when you are able to carry the donation from the donor to the patient. And it just could be possible that you will get to travel anywhere in the world. Pam used to go overseas. It is such an important piece of the package - that person who is carrying the gift of life from one to another.
God will truly bless you as you bless others in your witness through your "job" as a courier for the program.
God bless you - Coleen cjc:)

Dear Debbie,
What a great position you will have as a courier. Not only for you but the people you will be in contact with. God always has a wonderful plan.
Glad you were all safe in this terrible weather.
Last night as I was watching one of the Parade of Pianos, I was thinking what a blessing you & Roger were to each other.
The article in Singing News was so nice, & I will save it as I have saved the others. Such a kind & gentle person you are. Your children have been doubly blessed. Take care Debbie & stay safe.
God Bless, Janet

Debbie,
You come to mind so often these days. I know its only 3 weeks from today when it will be 1 whole year that Roger took his last breath. The fact that we miss him reminds us how much you and your children miss him; we pray God will bless and comfort you; knowing He wants to do just that. Suetta

Good morning Debbie, I know exactly what you are going through. I lost the love of my life for 30 wonderful years on March 30, 2007. All of the firsts are very hard aren't they? I have a lot of support from my sister, family, church family and the church family here at Calder Baptist Church where I work. But without my Lord and Saviour I could not make it. My husband had a favorite song that I have ask my church to sing on March 30th, "I'm a Winner Either Way, If I Go or If I Stay". I also told them I hope that I can make it through the service. They understand. My husband is the one that led me to the Lord. What a BLESSING!!! Jadelle and I enjoyed seeing Roger and Legacy Five so many times. God Bless you as you deal with all of this. Glad that you got the courier job and hope you enjoy your travels. Jadelle and I were team truck drivers for 11 years and saw 48 states, flew to Hawaii and then took a trip to Alaska to complete the 50th state. My love to you, Carol
