Well, I guess you know when you don't hear from me for a while that I am doing fine, and just keeping busy doing one thing or another. That is true this time, for sure. I have travelled, done a trip or two with the NMDP, finished a couple of projects around the house, met with some friends, and I am currently in Arkansas. I drove down on Saturday, and had a wonderful family dinner with most of the relatives on Sunday for my Mom's birthday. It was a great time, and it was good to have Doug up for the dinner, too. I will be here for another week, because my Mom is having surgery tomorrow for a knee replacement (please keep her in your prayers), and I will be helping her out while she is in the hospital for a few days. I pretty much have that routine down pat, but I may be a little out of practice. I think it will be a little like riding a bike, remembering things about the hospital routine....
2009 promises to be a year of more change in many ways. It is both interesting, and scary, seeing the new things that God continues to bring our way. We just have to trust, and remind ourselves that HE is ALWAYS in control, and He has our best interests in His heart. Isn't it great to know, especially with Valentine's Day coming up, that we are loved completely, with no reservations, by the One Who keeps us lovingly
