Becky

So happy you and yours are safe. We did think about all of our wonderful christian friends on Friday morning when we woke up and heard the storms forecasted for TN. Prayers were said for you and others in the area. It was a beautiful Easter here and the temps were awesome for us Easter weekend; hovering around 60 with bright sunshine all weekend. We will remember those who have losses with the storms this past weekend. Have a good week!

Debbie, thank you so much for updating us. I know we're not supposed to worry but I was very concerned about you and the kids. I hope that all the guys from Legacy Five and their families are also okay. I'm sure that Resurrection Day had more meaning to you than ever.

Debbie,
We were not aware of the tornadoes in TN. However, isn't God so good to use many others to pray for you, and the others there, who were in these circumstances. We will remember those families affected by this storm. Thanking the Lord for your family's safety. Am glad to hear of your wonderful Easter service, we too had a wonderful cantata at church Easter morning, and another wonderful service on Sunday evening.
Blessings...

Debbie,
Praise God for protection. His timing is perfect. Glad the Easter service was a wonderful blessing to you. Christ is Risen! Take care. You are loved. Geneva

What I'm Reading Right Now

  • Ron Mehl: What God Whispers in the Night

Ron Mehl: What God Whispers in the Night
Ron Mehl is a hero that I never met. A friend gave me this book a couple of years ago and it really touched me. Ron was suffering with Leukemia and had written several wonderful books before this one "Whispers" really got to me. The main thought is why is it that God who IS light, who created light, does so much of his work in the dark? The answer, because that's where WE are. We struggle in darkness, our weakness is more pronounced in the darkness and we feel so alone in our darkness. But....God is not intimidated by the dark! He invades it and speaks to us there! You should read this book asap. (*****)
