I hope everyone is having a great summer. I know mine has been very busy, and full of lots of experiences. I have been traveling, working on my house, and trying to get a couple of new products ready for manufacturing. Just today, I got the new DVD proof to edit, and I am excited about this new piece. It's a very relaxing video of God's wonderful scenery in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland, with the beautiful piano playing of Roger, of course, and some inspiring KJV scripture imposed over the scenery. It is, I hope, the first in a series called "My Father's World". This first one is subtitled "A Celtic Experience". It is exciting to see something that Roger and I had talked about doing so many years ago, finally becoming reality. I hope to have it ready by Labor Day Weekend, and then for NQC.
Speaking of NQC, I will have a booth there again this year. I will be located in booth #707, same as last year, directly behind Legacy Five. Please come by and see me if you are there! I will, however, only be present myself from Thursday to Saturday, because I am accompanying my Dad to his final WWII reunion in Nebraska on Monday through Wednesday of that week. I had to make a decision where to be, and I just couldn't miss this reunion, being the last. It's sad, because we have lost so many over the years, that there is only a small handful left to attend this one. If you think about it, please pray that those who desire to attend are able to get there. It will be a bittersweet time, I am sure.
Plans are coming along for Jordan's and Jessica's wedding. They have set the date for June 26, 2010, and are planning a small function. They have been working hard on the details while Jessica was home for the summer. She has since left to attend stunt school in Seattle for 3 weeks, and then she is off to Chicago to complete her final year of school. The honeymoon has been booked, and tentative plans are that they will relocate to the west coast to pursue their respective careers. Of course, Mom doesn't like that part too well, but I do realize that we raise them to live their own lives. I guess I will just have to take a few more courier trips to the L.A. area! I hope they have a guest room.....
I have been so busy that I have been a little behind in taking courier trips, but I have an international trip coming up the middle of August. And, speaking of the work I do, and what it's about, please do keep the Seamans family, especially Frank, Jr., in your urgent prayers. It is my understanding that Frank Jr's own stem cells were harvested in the past few days. He will be receiving his own cells back for his transplant. They will be treated before being reintroduced, and I am unsure of the date for that. Just keep him in your prayers, as I know there are many treatments, and sick days, that he will be going through. One good thing I do know about getting your own cells (an autologous transplant) is that the chance of the nasty Graft-vs.-Host disease is greatly reduced, and that is a great thing.
Well, I am off to work on a new songbook, featuring the piano arrangements of the CD "Whispers in the Night". Wish me luck! Regardless, I know I am always
In His Grip!

Hi Debbie,
So excited to see your posting, and to know you are doing so well. Seems as if you are busy, projects are going well, and travel has been fun. Have a great time in Nebraska, what a treasure to accompany your Dad to this event. I still have my WW2 Dad. Not many around anymore. Make wonderful memories!
Again congrat's on the upcoming wedding,
Love from the Heart of America,
Cheryl/Lenexa KS

Hi Debbie,
I had a hunch you would be posting soon. I'll come by and say hi at the NQC.
I live about two hours above Seattle and was not aware there was a stunt school there. Live and learn.
Glad to hear you are well and busy with projects.
Enjoy your trip with your dad. That will be such a special time.
In His Love,
Ann in a very hot Oak Harbor Washington

Debbie,
Good to hear from you. Your summer sounds as busy as ours! Summer always goes too fast. I am sure you will have much to keep you moving forward this year with a wedding and the new projects you are doing to honor Roger and help so many. Thanks also for your update on Frank Jr. I will continue to pray for him. Take Care,
Becky In Wisconsin

Dearest Debbie,
Thank-you for producing another piano book of Roger's arrangements. I am a piano teacher and have used his music for my upper level students. They find it challenging, but are very satisfied with themselves when it is learned and memorized.
Hugs from Texas,
Helen

Hi Debbie,
I knew there would be post this week! I've been checking and there you were. I always enjoy the news of your busy life and of the kids doings. Wedding planning is really a fun thing...my daughter married first and we had an awesome time with shopping planning and all other stuff. I didn't think I would ever experience that fun again as my other children are boys. I had as much fun with the older sons wedding...fittings for tux..he and his dad were so funny and his bride and I did girly things getting ready for the big day..you are going to be a wonderful mother-in-law and they will have a guest room with your name on it...too bad it has to be so far away. With email and cell phones and sometimes cheap air fare they won't seem so far away..my son live in Idaho...
The projects sound wonderful..I have a couple of Roger's piano CD's and I can see him at the piano as I listen...he is still my favorite piano guy.
Thanks for the update on Frank Jr and I will continue keep him and his family in my prayers..my heart really goes out to them.
Enjoy your trip with your dad...I know he will have a good time with his "Buddies"..You all travel safe.
Love and God's Blessings,
Judy Hicks

Thanks for the up-dates. Looking forward to the new DVD. I will be keeping you & your family in my prayers, as you plan the wedding. I know it will be hard for you at times, just wishing Roger was there with you to share the excitement. But we know he will be watching & smiling.
Sending Love & Prayers to all of you. ~ Barb
