I know, I know, it's been a while again. Time does seem to pass way too quickly these days! (I guess that's really nothing new...)
I have been getting new products ready for NQC and the mail order business, and I am happy to report that they are ready now! They aren't up on the web store yet, but I am working on that, too, so I will give you a preview here. First, the new DVD, My Father's World: A Celtic Experience is now finished. It's a DVD filmed in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and N. Ireland. The DVD features the scenery of God's beautiful creation shown over a background of music played by the incomparable Roger Bennett (!) with KJV scripture references imposed at the beginning of each song. There is nothing to break the reflective mood; it is simply a meditative tool. (I can just hear Roger saying, "Do not operate heavy equipment while listening to this one!") It will sell for $20 and can be ordered through the web store (when it gets there) or by phone or mail.....check the website at www.rogerbennettdirect for information. Don't forget to add $4 p/h to each order. The second new product is an all-new songbook of piano arrangements from Roger's CD Whispers in the Night (corrected title-note). It is transcribed as closely to Roger's own style as possible (for the moderately advanced player), and it sells for $15. Third, I am still working on, but should have in the next couple of weeks, a first: PIANO TRAX (background tracks from Roger's own recordings). These have been requested so many times, but we never got them out......so the first set will be from the project Church in the Wildwood. I am so excited to finally be able to provide both the piano book and the background tracks for use. Keep your eyes open for that release. I will let you know as soon as I get it.
Meanwhile, I have been on another courier trip, and it went very smoothly, and I got to visit with some family I don't see often while I was there. We are staying busy around the house in TN. Chelsea has decided to go back to school and get a second degree (in Graphic Arts, to go along with the Photography degree - she is awesome, and already does a lot of work for me - check out the credits on the book and the new stuff!), and she starts classes on Monday, and will continue working 2 days a week at her current position. Jordan is very busy with his job(s), and he and Jessica are working toward their wedding date of June 26, 2010, as she is now back at school in Chicago. We hit a milestone this week when our Cocker Spaniel, Boomer, turned 14.......something no other Bennett pet has done before. (Actually, we think Chelsea's cat, Leia, is about that age, too.) I am still trying to move forward in my own life, while working out all of the details to integrate the past and the future - a HUGE task.
But, God is good, He is faithful, He cares, and He keeps us all
In His Grip!
Debbie
Debbie,
God is good, He is faithful, and He does care. I have and am experiencing that in my own life, and the ones I love. I continue to pray for you, your carrier trips, your family, and your future decisions. Am excited to see the new projects you have worked on. Prayers...

Blessings to you, ~Shanna Locker~

Hi Debbie,
Such a busy girl. It's hard to believe summer is about gone. I have my two active grandchildren here a few days since school starts here in Washington next week.
I look forward to coming by to say hi at the NQC.
Hope you have a few minutes to get some rest.
Hugs,
Ann
