I am sitting here with a cat on one side of me, and a dog at my feet, having a cup of coffee, getting ready for another day.....but a special one, as it is Thanksgiving, and it reminds us all to pause and be thankful for our many blessings.
Life can be stressful and confusing at times, but you only have to look around to see that there are many things to be thankful for. One thing in particular I am thankful for today is that my daughter-in-law, who was involved in a car accident on the Los Angeles Freeway on Tuesday night, is alright, even though her car isn't. Cars are able to be fixed or replaced - people aren't; so we are very grateful that she is okay, if a little sore.
As soon as the season settles a little, I plan to post more of an update, and share some things God has been showing me. The holidays are always a bit tough, with such vivid memories crowding in, but they are also welcome ones, reminding me of God's goodness in my life.
So, have a wonderful day, enjoy family and friends, and remember to pause to count your blessings......not just today, but every day. God is good - all the time, and He is faithful to keep us
In His Grip!
Debbie
Debbie,
Happy Thanksgiving to you. It is always nice to hear from you. Enjoy your family. Including those furry members. When my daughter got up a bit ago she lamented on how hard it is to get up when you have a cat purring next to you. Not to worry...when she came down the dog was laying by the fireplace wanting some company! Becky In Wisconsin

Happy Thanksgiving, Debbie. Although we don't have Thanksgiving in the UK our family have so much to thank God for.My Dad suddenly had a heart attack last week after preaching at Church. He is doing so well and God placed just the right people at the right time in the right place to help him and my Mum - we thank God for His goodness.
May you be blessed today and through the coming Christmas season.

PS Our dog sits at our feet until the fire is switched on - then he lies in front of the fire :-)

Good to hear from you. Hope your Thanksgiving was blessed with loved ones and lots of good eating. Ours was, and we are still eating leftovers. lol. But not complaining, just thankful. Give me a call sometime when you are near and we will try to visit over a coke or maybe fish. OK?
Lots of love and prayers from both of us.
