My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family.
There is a special love between a daughter and her father.

May your Faith and precious memories help in the days and weeks ahead. Love,

Margaret and Jim Smith

You are in our prayers. Good to be in His grip.

Psalm 61.

I had not really been keeping up to date on your blogs. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad! I know that he is rejoicing in heaven with Roger. Remember, we will be with them far longer that we will without!
Continuously Praying,

Thinking of you and praying for you on this day. I've been singing The Perry's song "The Potter Knows The Clay" for the past couple of days. God knows how much pressure we can take and He knows how to get our attention. Stay close to Him and He will see you through it all. ~Shanna Locker~

Praying for you all! What a Glorious day it must have been when Roger & your Dad greeted each other, both free of pain & laughing & telling each other jokes! What joy it will be when we all meet our love ones again.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. At least you had along time with him, and unfortunately, I did not have long with mine. He will be praising in heaven!

Dear Debbie and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. No words or act can ease the pain nor fill the void. Just wanted you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. At a time like this I always think of the song George sang. The phrase was,"Death takes everything but your memories". May the storehouse of memories that you all have of your dad, husband and grandfather keep him alive in your hearts and bring a smile when you think of him.
God bless and give you strength for the days ahead.
Love and Sympathy,
Judy Hicks

Hi Debbie,
I have been thinking about you for the last couple of weeks. I check almost everyday to see if you have posted. I am prayig things are going ok for your mom and for you. I know it is tough, I have been where you are, having lost both of my parents, especially my mom--I was a mama's girl. Even after so much time has passed I still miss her everyday. Praying that you are well and asking that the Lord walk beside you each minute of every day. Blessings, Linda

Hello Debbie,

Please send a prayer request out for my sister who is having a hard time. She has been waiting for answers for her settlment and is very depressed. Thank you and I am glad you are ministering to people and I am so happy to hear from you.

Like Roger said in his testimony: You never get cancer. It always someone else." Your dad is with Jesus and out of pain. No more Chemo. Jesus has given him a Brand New Body. I am 48, piano player, and prostate cancer survivor from 2007. Treatment caused many other complications(IMRT radiation). As of 2/14/2012, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer-metastases to nodes and 100% of bones. I have my faith, I know I will be going to a better place, yet I am crying every night. I do not have much of a support group here at home. 5% chance of surviving 5 years. I hope my faith will be as strong as Rogers. Kenton

What I'm Reading Right Now

  • Ron Mehl: What God Whispers in the Night

Ron Mehl: What God Whispers in the Night
Ron Mehl is a hero that I never met. A friend gave me this book a couple of years ago and it really touched me. Ron was suffering with Leukemia and had written several wonderful books before this one "Whispers" really got to me. The main thought is why is it that God who IS light, who created light, does so much of his work in the dark? The answer, because that's where WE are. We struggle in darkness, our weakness is more pronounced in the darkness and we feel so alone in our darkness. But....God is not intimidated by the dark! He invades it and speaks to us there! You should read this book asap. (*****)
