Dear Friends and Family:
You are invited to start off the holiday season with “A Christmas Journey,” a dinner and music event featuring several of today’s top names in gospel music performing Christmas music from the past to the present. The event will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27 at College Heights Baptist Church in Gallatin. Proceeds from the event benefit The Veranda at College Heights, a congregational respite program at College Heights Baptist Church.
Tickets are $20 per person; businesses, churches, organizations or individuals may sponsor a table of eight for $150. Reservations are requested by Nov. 20 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. For those who are unable to attend the event, please consider purchasing tickets and making them available for use by senior adults who may not be able to afford to purchase their own.
The evening’s line-up includes Tribute Quartet, Declaration Trio, Roger and Debra Talley of the Talleys, Trey Ivey and Scott Fowler of Legacy Five and Taj Rohr of Taj Rohr Ministries. The evening also will include the “Festival of Pianos” and a special performance by the College Heights Baptist Church choir directed by Steve Hurst, worship pastor for College Heights Baptist Church.
For more information about the event or to make reservations, contact Mary Anne Oglesby at the church office at 615-452-4952. For more about the event, visit The Veranda’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/TheVerandaAtCollegeHeights
